During my precovid travels through Morocco I became fascinated with Donkeys and Mules. In fact they  are much relied upon in the community as a means of nomad  transport in the remote  Mountains.  The Donkeys and Mules provide  horticultural assistance in the oasis plots. In the city of  Fes they are the only means of transporting goods through the narrow streets.

On one trip I visited the the Fondouk in Fes which provides free veterinary care for all working Donkeys, Mules and Horses.  It is a non for profit organisation that was created in 1927. In fact a lady from America when visiting with her husband was saddened by the plight of these animals.

The reason for  the creation of this calendar was to contribute to assist in the care of these precious animals. Five dollars will be donated from each sale of a Calendar to the Fondouk. The website link is included to see the amazing achievement’s by this team.
